Hi there. Cake/savourys recipes please....?

I would like recipes that are cheap and freeze well. I currently make breading pudding as it is very cheap to make and I can freeze it for my husband to take a piece to work everyday and it doesnt cost the earth! Im looking for either cake or savoury recipes that I can do the same with please that will be a nice treat in a packed lunch. Any old fashioned recipes welcome too. Thanks in advance.Hi there. My husband like those puff pinwheels.

Get some sheets of puff pastry, spread each one all over with some mustard and chilli sauce. You don't want it dripping off, just a reasonable smear. Then sprinkle well with chopped ham/bacon and cheese, roll them up, cut into 2cm slices, chuck them onto a baking sheet and cook for about 20-30 mins at 205 C.

They freeze well, or just store in an airtight container for a couple of days.

You can use pretty much anything really, try adding some herbs, use chicken, add some onions (caramelised onions are great in these) enjoyHi there. Cake/savourys recipes please....?
