Recipe for cake mix with out using egg?

I have a cake mix that calls for 1 egg, but I do not have any eggs. Does anyone know something I can substitute so I can still make the cake without using an egg?Recipe for cake mix with out using egg?

Take a prepackaged cake mix (from any grocery store, Betty Crocker, etc) and instead of using the ingredients listed on the back like eggs or oil, mix it with a can of diet coke. Soy flour or ground flax seed make good egg substitutes. I prefer to use the soy for white mixes as the flax as a grainy funny look when used in white flour products unless it's with chocolate.


1 tablespoon flaxmeal or soyflour + 2 tablespoons water equal one egg.
