Who can send me a good Pound Cake recipe?

Key Lime Daiquiri Pound Cake





* 1 cup butter


* 1/2 cup shortening


* 2 cups white sugar


* 5 eggs


* 3 cups all-purpose flour


* 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


* 1 cup milk


* 2 tablespoons rum


* 1 tablespoon grated key lime zest


* 2 teaspoons key lime juice


* 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract


* 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice


* 1/4 cup white sugar


* 1/4 cup butter


* 2 tablespoons key lime juice


* 3 tablespoons rum


1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan. Mix together the flour and baking powder.


2. In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup butter, 1/2 cup shortening and 2 cups sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk, mixing just until incorporated. Stir in 2 tablespoons rum, key lime zest, 2 teaspoons key lime juice, vanilla extract and lemon juice.


3. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn it out onto wire rack. While warm, prick top of cake with toothpick. Pour Key Lime Daiquiri Glaze over warm cake. Cool completely.


4. To make Key Lime Daiquiri Glaze: In small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup butter and 2 tablespoons key lime juice. Bring to boil. Continue to boil, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in 3 tablespoons rum.Who can send me a good Pound Cake recipe?

Here's an easy one!





1 box Duncan Hines Yellow Cake mix


4 eggs


1 cup water


3/4 cup oil (like Crisco oil)


1 container Betty Crocker Creamy Coconut Pecan Frosting





Preheat oven to 350 F.


Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased and floured pan (I use a 10 inch tube pan). Bake 1 hour, cool on rack.
7-Up Pound Cake

Method :





* Cream butter with sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add lemon juice; add flour and 7-Up alternately, beating after each addition.


* Bake in a greased and floured tubepan at 300 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours, or until cake tests done.


* Serve with whipped cream and strawberries

I tried this one but with frozen blueberries... and added a few strawberries... Heavenly!

* 1 cup butter


* 2 cups white sugar

* 2 cups fresh blueberries


* 1/4 cup all-purpose flour





DIRECTIONS





1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 10 inch tube pan with 2 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle pan with 1/4 cup sugar. Mix together 2 3/4 cups flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.


2. In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup butter and 2 cups sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Dredge blueberries with remaining 1/4 cup flour, then fold into batter Pour batter into prepared pan.


3. Bake in the preheated oven for 70 to 80 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
This is a great basic pound cake recipe.





1 cup butter, softened


3 cups sugar


6 eggs


1 tablespoon vanilla


3 cups Martha White庐 All-Purpose Flour


1/8 teaspoon salt


1 cup heavy whipping cream





Do not preheat oven. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. In large bowl, combine butter and sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla; blend well.





In medium bowl, combine flour and salt. Add flour mixture to butter mixture alternately with cream, beginning and ending with flour. Pour batter into prepared pan.





Place in cold oven. Turn temperature to 325掳 F. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool 1 hour or until completely cooled.
