Good luck on the cake contest...What is a delicious chocolate cake recipe that could win a school contest?
This one. It is from the back of the Hershey Cocoa can. Absolutely the best scratch cake ever. Use the frosting that is below for a cake that will definitely win the contest -- made this for the holidays and it is fabulous. Let the frosting cool overnight before trying to use it to frost the cake. Leftover frosting can be chilled, rolled into balls, then rolled in good quality cocoa to make truffles.
